My team had been sending what we called “cold call kits” for several months, with quite a high success rate at attracting customers. These cold call kits consisted of a booklet, a hat with an embroidered patch, and a treated soil sample showcasing the effects of the soil stabilization product. This bandana came into conception from a meeting my team had with the sales department on how to reduce the size and mailing cost of these “cold call kits”. A bandana seemed like the logical step, as many construction workers and contractors seemed to be sporting them for either the look or for a practical purpose such as keeping the sweat out of their eyes. I had a lot of fun with this project, stretching my creative legs quite a bit. Ultimately, my boss wanted a design that could be folded to showcase a scene in the center, so the bandana in the middle of the scene to the left is what was chosen and printed.
