This whole scene, with the exception of the font and logo, was fully illustrated. My boss had a general idea of what he wanted, with a photograph depicting the look of santa in a red truck. I took this photo and used it as a reference for my illustration. The pails were tricky, but I was able to match up the perspective in a 3D program, then use that scene as a reference to get the look right. My favorite part about these cards are the snowflakes, which have the Substrata “U” and “A” incorporated into a repeating snowflake look.
