Each year the Henderson Chamber of Commerce and the HCC Foundation team up with the City of Henderson to put on the Economic Development and Small Business Awards. The community votes on businesses in several categories such as family owned business, innovation, nonprofit and more. I worked on the program for this event three years in a row.
